Quarantine Procedures

  • If you get a positive result, you will be required to self-isolate In for 7 days.

  • Conduct RAT on the sixth or seventh day. (Not mandatory)

  • Confirmed COVID-19 patients within 30 days of departure need to submit a confirmation letter indicating the person is released from COVID-19 quarantine if they test positive for the coronavirus upon arrival.

Arrival & Quarantine

Starting from June 8, all visitors to Korea will be exempt from mandatory quarantine; however, they must enter their information to Q-CODE prior to arriving in Korea and scan the provided QR code upon immigration. Q-CODE will require personal information (passport number), PCR Negative Test Result (issued within 48 hours of entry) or RAT prior to departure date (within 24 hours of entry), and entry information (departure country, airline, address in Korea, mobile number).

Q-CODE

Q-code is a system established by the KDCA in order to shorten the time for quarantine inspection and provide the conveniences overseas travelers require upon entry to the Republic of Korea. Anyone who inputs normal quarantine information through Q-code will be able to avail fast and convenient quarantine inspection after their arrival in the Republic of Korea.

PCR Test

All travelers to Korea must take 2 PCR Tests.

① 1st Test: PCR Test 2 days prior to departure date (within 48 hours of entry) or RAT prior to departure date (within 24 hours of entry)
② 2nd PCR Test: Test within 3 days of arrival
* Recommended process: Take a PCR test on your arrival-> Move to your accommodation -> Minimizing outside contact (before receiving your PCR test result)*
* Incheon Airport COVID-19 Testing Center provides COVID-19 test and issues certificate for inbound and outbound passengers. For Covid-19 test reservation and detailed information, please click  here.
③ RAT(Rapid Antigen Test): self-administered on the 6th or 7th day of arrival. Not mandatory.
