Conference of Directors General of Civil Aviation
Asia and Pacific Region 2022
57th DGCA Conference - APAC 4–8 July 2022 | Incheon, Republic of Korea

Visa Information

Passport and Visa

Any foreigners that intents to enter the Republic of Korea for the conference must required a valid passport and a Korean visa issued by your local or nearest Korean embassy or consulate.

Nationals of visa waiver or visa-free countries may visit Korea for up to 90 days without a visa. However, due to the ongoing pandemic, Korea has temporarily suspended its visa waiver agreement with some countries. If you are unsure whether you need to apply for a visa, please visit the Korea Visa Portal  where you can search for your visa requirements by country/region, purpose of entry, etc.

Starting from September 2021, travelers from visa-waiver countries are required to get Korea Electronic Travel Authorization (K-ETA) online prior to their departure to Korea. For detailed information about K-ETA, please go to the official site.

The Republic of Korea has currently suspended the visa on arrival and offers only the option of obtaining a visa through a government diplomatic office, either an embassy or a consulate, or through designated travel agencies depending where you will be applying for your visa. This process of applying for a visa involves having to attend an appointment in person and supplying an embassy with a range of supporting documentation depending on the requested visa type. If you require a visa, you are strongly advised to start your visa application early enough to be sure to have your visa before you depart. The visa application process may take longer in certain countries, so please consult your local or nearest Korean embassy or consulate. (See the list of Korean diplomatic missions and their contacts here.)
